Blackhawk Founder’s Event - Reserve Your Spot Today!
If you haven’t yet reserved a place for yourself at the Blackhawk Founder’s Event this summer, you may want to do it today. Due to high interest in our homesites, we’re expecting them to go fast. Don’t let someone else claim your homesite on the river!

West Mountain Road Clean Up a Squeaky-Clean Success

Friends, family, homeowners at Blackhawk on the River and others in the Blackhawk Community joined Blackhawk Partners for its Second Annual West Mountain Road Clean Up on Saturday, April 28.

Each spring when the snow melts, foreign debris is revealed along the roadways. Because of the sensitive and pristine wildlife habitat, removing foreign debris from the West Mountain Road Scenic Corridor is crucial to maintaining the natural beauty of the area and preserving migratory bird habitats. “It is especially important to clean up this time of year. The wildlife becomes so much more active; we want to make their home and our home cleaner and more beautiful,” explained Sima Muroff, Blackhawk’s managing partner.

This year, volunteers focused on the stretch of county road from the intersection of West Valley and Boydstun to Hait Lane. Participants dressed warmly to face the typical early-spring weather. After the clean up, everyone gathered around a fire to warm up and replenish their energy with food, beverages and toasted marshmallows, all generously provided by Blackhawk.
