Blackhawk Founders' Event Held June 15-17
If you've been considering ownership at Blackhawk, let us treat you to fine food and some famous McCall recreation. The first Founders' Event on June 15 to 17, 2007 is the perfect opportunity for prospective buyers to experience all that Blackhawk on the River has to offer.

Friday: The weekend begins with a complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres gathering at the Blackhawk Office.

Saturday: Wake up with breakfast at the Blackhawk Office at 9:45, followed by a tour of Blackhawk on the River Then the afternoon is yours: take guided or unguided hiking tours, explore the water in a kayak or enjoy a ride on the pontoon boat. At 5pm, join us at the Fishing Grotto for a rustic yet elegant five-course meal catered by Delish.

Sunday: No scheduled activities – use this time to explore McCall and Blackhawk on your own.

Blackhawk on the River in National Spotlight
When Idaho comes up in conversation, people from the other 49 states often crack potato jokes. That’s about to change! In its June/July 2007 Vacation Homes issue, the Robb Report calls Idaho “The Hottest State in the West” and features Blackhawk on the River as one of two premier communities in McCall. Author Kim Fredricks writes “Blackhawk is doing its part to preserve the land” and points out that owners have “an immediate connection to nature.” She also highlights the affordability of McCall real estate (compared to other resort towns) and covers the unique measures being taken to preserve resources, such as encouraging homeowners to use energy-efficient lighting and incorporating solar technology into new homes. HGTV's Great Taste Program to Feature Blackhawk on the River
This summer, viewers in select markets will enjoy Great Taste featuring Blackhawk on the River. Aired in local and national markets through HGTV, Great Taste welcomes viewers into luxurious lifestyles, featuring the best in spas, five-star resorts, fashion, jewels, vacations, unique cuisine, home décor and of course, the best places to live around the world.

This month, Great Taste featuring Blackhawk on the River will run Wednesdays in June - the 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th at 5:30 pm on WPXP Ion in West Palm Beach, Boca Raton and Ft. Pierce, FL. Not in your area? Check next month's newsletter for July's airing schedule.

Our recreational amenities are now up and running for buyers, clients and guests. Come to the Fishing Grotto for kayaks and river rafts, stop by the Recirc Building between the lakes for mountain bikes and fly fishing rods, let the kids play in teepees on the North and South Ranches, take an ATV tour and check out the pontoon boat in a slip at Mile High Marina.
